Course Description:
This course is specifically designed to comply with the revised training requirements specified in NAS 410 Rev. 2 (effective February 2003) for NDT Level I & II personnel. The Magnetic Particle Testing - Level I/II  (NAS 410) course covers the theoretical aspects of this method, provides demonstrations and practical hands-on laboratory time on both portable and stationary equipment and is designed for manufacturers, services companies, and overhaul facilities, who require their personnel to be trained in Magnetic Particle Testing, which is used to locate inherent, processing or service discontinuities in ferrous materials. The course satisfies the training hours needed for both Level I and II certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and NAS-410.
